Washington State strikes against Online Poker players again!!

Well if it was not bad enough that Poker Stars banned Washington players from playing in their site, Full Tilt Poker has now followed suit. Poker players living in the anti online poker state of Washington were dealt another blow Friday when Full Tilt Poker took the step and decided to ban all players from real money wagering on their poker site. Full Tilt joins Poker Stars in their decision to leave poker players out in the cold over the Supreme Court’s ruling that has made internet gambling a Class C Felony in Washington State. A Class C Felony in Washington State is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Could you imagine this state actually sentencing someone to 5 years in prison for playing poker? How many criminals do you think are living in the State of Washington that may have committed crimes much worse than playing a “game” of cards for money? But yet a crime like sexual assault which is also punishable as a Class C felony could be punishable as the same for online gamblers! Whom are you hurting? Who is suffering because of your crime? Its funny beacuse if they would just figure out a way to tax us on our internet Gambling, Washington State would be happy as a clam! But since they can not figure this out, they must punish their residents for something they can not capitalize on. What happens if the Federal government finally legalizes online gaming, will Washington State have to repeal its ruling or will it still ban online gaming if it can? We are sure more will becoming out of Washington State in the coming weeks and we will keep you abreast on any news or updates.

More will come as it develops and dont forget to visit http://www.northwestgambling.com/ for your Washington Gaming needs.
